Protocols before Entering Library Premises
1.Present your UP ID/Temporary Library Card (Green Card) to the guard on duty.
2.Have your temperature checked.
3A. Proceed to the Library if there are still available slots.
3B. Proceed to the Library waiting area if maximum capacity has been reached.
Important: For UP alums, please secure an Orange Card from the Library Reference Section on your first visit. The Orange Card is renewable every semester.
Protocols while Inside Library Premises
1. Please wear your mask properly at all times.
2. Practice social distancing.
3. Sanitize your hands when necessary.
4. No eating inside the Library.
5. Follow the floor markers when transacting with the Library staff.
6.Tone down your voice when conversing with other people.
7. No vaping and smoking inside the Library.
Protocol after Visiting the Library Premises
Please inform the Library immediately if you tested positive for COVID-19 one to three days after your library visit.
Please proceed to the Library Circulation Section when borrowing/returning books.

Request Scanning of Book Chapters (Document Delivery Service)
If you only need two chapters of a book, you may ask the Library to scan them for you.
Important: The Library can only give requestors a temporary viewing link to two chapters of a book to avoid violation of the copyright law. A scanning request usually takes 3-5 working days to be completed. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to avail.
The UPSE Library is subscribed to four dataset providers namely, CEIC Data, EIKON with Datastream, ORBIS Database, and GTAP Database. In addition, datasets from ADB, BSP, DSWD, PCED, PSA, UNDP, UNESCO and World Bank are also available. Please email email@example.com for access instructions.
