    The fisheries sector is the poorest sector in the country and therefore, the most vulnerable to climatic changes. People find different means to cope with the situation in order to uplift their well-being and one of the emerging strategies is by working overseas. The study showed that climate-induced migration is caused by declining agricultural productivity in the countryside. Using the Fixed Effect Two-Stage Least Squares (FE-TSLS) regression model on a 13-year panel data, results showed that fish productivity, as affected by weather variables, serves as an important intermediate
