This study endeavors to define and measure gender equity in access to health care services. A modified methodology is used to assess overall gender equity as well as per income group, age, region and type of work. The data gathered from the 2007 Annual Poverty Indicators Survey is used in the analysis. This study concludes that there is gender equity in access to health care however the degree of equity is not very large.
