In response, refill station programs have been introduced as sustainable retail alternatives; however, sustaining long-term engagement among micro-retailers remains a challenge. This study examines the internal and external factors influencing the ongoing participation in refill selling among sari-sari store owners involved in the RIPPLEx initiative in Marikina City. Guided by an integrated framework that combines the constructs of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), and how they impact both the intention to continue and actual sustained use.
