Item Restricted Effect of the Philippine dealing and exchange corporation on Rural Bank Investment in bonds(2011-01) Campos, Jerome Sidney R.; Herrera, Kevin Mitchell B.; Pernia, Ernesto M.The Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corporation (PDEx) began operating as the country's sole trading platform for fixed income securities in the second quarter of 2005. The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of the PDEx on the bond holdings of rural banks. The study uses a linear regression with data before and after the establishment of PDEx (2000-2010). It then uses a chow test to test if the establishment of PDEx caused a change in the bond holding behavior of rural banks.
