Both in the model with agreeing spouses and the model with noncooperative spouses, such preferences have an equalizing effect on the division of labor between the husband and the wife. In the noncooperative setting, the wife gets better off and the husband worse off in terms of private consumption. I also argue that factors, such as the allocation process and the degree of fairness consideration, matter for policy outcomes. I discuss few policy measures in relation to these two factors.Item Restricted Hours of work and earning: the case for migrants and non migrants in Metro Manila(1979-03) Miranda, Ma.
