More specifically, it explores the effect of the following variables: age, sex, educational attainment, employment status, as well as district and barangay characteristics (population, crime rate and solution rate, business and real property tax collections). The data focuses on offenders from Quezon City from December 2015 to September 2016 obtained from the Quezon City Police District, the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Quezon City Hall (Barangay Operations Center and Financial Management Unit). The Logit Model, a binary regressand model, along with Probit and Linear Probability Models were adopted.
