dc.description.abstractThis paper investigates on the crucial factors that influence export performance in the Philippines. Related studies and trends were presented to highlight the role that FDI plays in the expansion of exports. Other variables such as trade policies, REER, labor productivity, and the interaction variable involving foreign investments and productivity were also examined in the study. Empirical evidence showed a positive but minimal impact of FDI on the growth of Philippine exports.
