Abstract
Educational attainment is critical in determining one's future income. In effect, college degrees also affect employability and income. This study aims to find out whether there are marked variances in ~e incomes of the graduates with different degrees obtained at the tertiary level. .An online survey was conducted among the 2009 graduates of selected colleges in UP Diliman. OLS regression analysis was then applied to the sample observations to test the effect and significance of the hypothesized explanatory variables on current monthly incomes. This study concludes that college degrees do have a significant effect on incomes. Knowing which degrees yield higher income, reflecting the demands of the labor market, would inform young students better in their choice of academic courses that would determine their career paths.
