The call center industry is one of the bright spots in the Philippine economy that contributes substantially to the growth of the services sector. The Philippines views this as a chance to invigorate the economy. However, there are certain concerns that can impede the sector's exceptional growth. The industry is in a state where the demand way exceeds supply. While the Filipinos' English skill is one of the reasons the Philippines is enjoying its fair share of the global market, the continuing deterioration of this advantage is one of the main problems that the industry is facing. These are currently being addressed through concentrated efforts by the public and private sectors.
