Abstract
The mineral industry is said to be possible of capital formation, such that they play a key role in the development of less developed countries like the Philippines. It is in this context that this paper aims to measure the profitability of the copper industry. The profitability of the industry will be measured according to the criterion posed by the "Pure theory of exhaustion".
