Abstract
This research paper aimed to evaluate the performance of plastics ban ordinances based on their effectiveness to shift consumer behaviors away from plastics consumption. It would be limited to two cities, namely, Quezon City and Makati City. The significance of this research would be to provide better understanding of the different factors that affect the demand
for plastics; which could then be used by local governments to improve their implementation of plastics ban.
