A REBORN SPACE FOR KNOWLEDGE!
Last Saturday, September 19, 2026, was a truly historic day for the UP School of Economics as we celebrated a double milestone: the official Inauguration & Soft Launch of the Newly Renovated UPSE Library (UPSE Knowledge Center) alongside the unveiling of the UPSE Mural!
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us and made this celebration unforgettable:
To our generous Alumni & Donors: Thank you for your unwavering support in transforming our library into a modern space for learning, research, and collaboration. Special thanks to the UPSE Alumni Association (UPSEAA), especially Batch 1976 (Golden Jubilarians) for gifting the school with the magnificent mural titled Alingawngaw ng Dekada Sitenta (Echoes of the 70s), masterfully painted by artist Juanito Torres.
To our distinguished Guests & Speakers: UP Diliman Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Dr. Jose Carlo de Pano, Dean Joy Abrenica, Dr. JC Punongbayan, Mr. Frankie Aseniero, Fr. CJ Vales, and all our faculty, staff, and students who participated.
GET READY TO STEP INTO THE NEW UPSE KNOWLEDGE CENTER!
From state-of-the-art display kiosks to brand new study carrels and furniture’s—where countless dreams (and legendary study naps!) are made—we can’t wait for you to experience this upgraded space!
Important Note: The library will remain briefly closed for a few final arrangements, tiny setups, and finishing touches to ensure everything is perfect for your return.
