CIRCULATION SERVICE

Circulation Service refers to the Library’s book lending service. Borrowing privileges for currently-enrolled UP students, faculty, and staff are as follows:

Undergraduate students

  • 5 circulation books for 2 weeks
  • 2 reserve books for overnight use

Graduate students

  • 10 circulation books for 2 weeks
  • 2 reserve books for overnight use

Faculty

  • 10 circulation books for 1 month

Research, Extension and Professional Staff (REPS)

  • 10 circulation books for 2 weeks

Administrative Staff

  • 5 circulation books for 2 weeks

Non-UP Members

  • Room-use only

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO BORROW BOOKS

  1. Use Tuklas (tuklas.up.edu.ph) to confirm the book’s availability. The book’s circulation status must be ON-SHELF.
  2. Write down the title, author/s, edition, date of publication, and call number of the book you intend to borrow on a slip of paper (call slip). 
  3. Proceed to the Circulation Section and give the call slip to the staff-on-duty.
  4. Wait for the staff-on-duty to retrieve the book you intend to borrow.
  5. Fill out the book card. Once done, hand it over to the staff-on-duty.
  6. Get your book.
