Abstract
The study focuses on understanding factors that affect women's behavior toward working and joining the labor force. Using the samples of a nationally representative survey, results are obtained using probit model. The results show that factors considered significant in determining female labor force participation in the Philippines include education, age, marital status, family size, household type, number of employed household members, presence of children, total family income, ownership of time-saving technology, women unemployment per region, and basic pay per day per region.
